The comforter adds a nice finishing touch to the room with its warm colors, but the sheets feel like an odd addition and may have been included as a marketing tactic. It would have been better to have the option to not receive them, but they can still be used as a drop cloth.

However, I would have preferred the option to purchase just the comforter, shams, and decorative pillow without the included sheets, which I found to be too scratchy.

Despite washing, the sheets and cover still have a papery texture. The California King size set we purchased is not true to size and barely fits our king size mattress, despite typically ordering a larger size to cover our bed frame. However, they do have a nice appearance.
