Although they are slightly sheer, these curtains effectively darken the room and have a nice appearance. I gave them 4 stars because they are not as thick as I had anticipated.

These drapes did not meet my expectations for room darkening as they are unlined and the upper section made of translucent faux silk fabric. However, I found the 50″ width to be perfect for making insulated Roman shades and upholstered cornices to match my comforter set. The pattern repeat also worked well for minimizing waste when seaming the corners of the cornices.

I am very satisfied with these curtains as they perfectly complement our bedding and add a sense of completeness to our bedroom. However, they did have a strong odor which required me to air out the room and use febreeze to lessen it, though it still lingers slightly.
